The addition of bamboo rayon to the fabric used to make these muslin squares makes them softer and more absorbent than the pure cotton ones. Useful for all sorts of things - like putting over your shoulder to catch possets, mopping up little squirts and spills, wiping noses and faces - they can also be used as nappies on a tiny baby (with a nappy nipper and a wrap). If you check out the Nappies for Newborns page on this website there are a couple of suggestions for how to fold them.
When your baby has grown up, you can use them for straining juice for making jelly (blackberry and apple's my favourite!) and, finally, they can be finished off by using them to mop the floor. They probably won't be as durable as pure cotton muslin when used as general purpose cleaning cloths!
70% Bamboo / 30% Organic Cotton. 70cm x 70cm. The washing instructions from the manufacturer say wash at 40ºC but I'm fairly confident they would be fine washed at 60ºC. Tumble dry on low.
